Formation

Ramsey Choral Society originated as an ad hoc group of singers who performed at the Ramsey Arts Festival in 1989 as the Ramsey Festival Choir. Subsequently, under the directorship of Norman Beedie and, under its current Musical Director William Missin, the choir has gained a considerable reputation for the standard and variety of its music making originally  

Choir's Profile

The Choir’s adventurous programming of a wide range of music has long been its hallmark, as has the excellent range of soloists, both professional and from within our own ranks. We frequently perform with local orchestras and choirs. The Society’s programme of concerts offers an exciting and varied selection of music to appeal to all. All the concerts are conducted by the Musical Director William Missin.

Contact Information

The choir meets every Thursday night from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, during term time, at Ramsey Junior school. Come along and join the fun. No auditions are held and there is no requirement that you should be able to read music.
